The Elite Athlete – Win or Ruin?

Practitioners,

As you read this case history, please verify if you would have known exactly what to do and how to assist this patient.  What the article does not say is this patient had been previously diagnosed with ALS.  Of course, I do not treat ALS or Cancer etc.  But I do treat people to help them to be as healthy and balanced as possible no matter what label has been given them.

The other concept to me I want to convey, after practicing 53 years, is we must identify and treat the cause/s of each patient’s condition and not chase symptoms.  The other realization I have earned in these many years is you have to stay on top of the treatment until the patient is stable or you may have to start over again or the patient feels you have failed them.  All Six Steps to Wellness needs to be addressed and corrected.

If you ever wanted to master the Six Steps to Wellness, now is the time.  Contact Jason at 480-964-5198 and sign up for our limited entry Certification Course.  Details are below the article.

Patient BB is an Elite Athlete, an incredible individual and a winner in Varsity Tennis starting as a sophomore. A straight A student until in the Junior year when symptoms started to appear of foggy brain, light sensitivity, loss of ambition, joint pain playing tennis and loss of understanding/ambition of school subjects and even tennis.  Her body and mind couldn’t make the ball in her left hand go where it was supposed to into position for the right hand and racket to slam it into the opponent’s court as it always had before.

Here is what we found:  Adrenal Fatigue -when testing a strong-arm muscle, we stretch the shoulder joint and the muscle got very weak.  The same with leg muscles.  In testing quadriceps that were strong, stretching the hip joint or having her run-in place for 30 seconds made the quads very weak.  We gave her OPTI-ADRENAL (OHS) to reverse this finding for nutritional support at one capsule, two to three times per day and one especially before playing tennis.

In her tennis match both ankles started to hurt and give out.  Her back became painful and when looking toward the sun, her eyes watered and blurred. In adrenal compromise the eyes are dilated too much.  Her thinking was not clear to play out in her mind what needed to happen fast enough to be as good as she had always been.   All of this points to adrenal fatigue and getting close to adrenal exhaustion.  As we exercise or have stress by other means, the adrenals have to increase function to keep up with the demands of stress or we damage ligaments, muscles, and joints.  We also impair brain function as the adrenals play a large role in regulation of arterial expansion and contraction and the glucose balance of the brain and body.

Yesterday upon examination following tennis matches, we found a Cat. II PI right hip, which means the right sacroiliac joint (SI) subluxated, which involves injured sacroiliac ligaments.  When the right hip moves backwards and twists, the left innominate moves forward because of the symphysis pubes articulation.  This rotation affects the femur heads in the acetabulum and then the knees, ankles, and feet. The are 31 bones in the lower extremity on each side, with muscle, ligaments and fascia all being distorted. You cannot distort the lower body without distorting the entire neuromuscular, craniosacral, and complete fascia of the total body, including the brain and intestines (gut).

We all know this logically, but we must correct these distortions or have many, many symptoms present and have the patient go from doctor to doctor and take many different types of pills to get relief.  My thought process is DC stands for doctor of cause.  We must identify the multiple causes of dysfunction and correct all of them, not cover them up.

To correct this distortion and the neuromuscular and neurological dysfunction, I blocked SOT style the hips bilateral.  To correct the fascia, I used percussor on her shoulders, hips, knees, ankles, TMJ and cranium.  When you get a sacroiliac subluxation of this magnitude, the cranium will also distort and the TMJ subluxate.  The percussor is the best and fastest way to correct this complex scenario.

I tested her nutritional reflexes and found her also to need support to the thyroid and pituitary.  I tested a group muscle of the arm ten times in a row, and she got extremely weak at contraction 3.  I gave her an OPTI-MITO-FORCE, which increases mitochondrial resuscitation.  I could then test here ten times is a row with to muscle weakening. I told her to take a minimum of one, twice per day.

With the cranial distortion and pituitary testing weak, I did a cranial pituitary pump, percussed the cranium very specifically and gave her nutrition support of OPTI-GLANDULAR.   I ask her to read and follow the FIBER FUELED book on proper diet.

We also used the color chart, tuning forks, spinal and spindle cell balancing for the Five Factors of Neurological Balance (Central Integration).
