Michael Kessler, D.C.,C.C.S.P. has 25 years clinical practice with a primary focus on nutritional and energetic therapies and is highly experienced in the integration of advanced healing methods, systems and devices. Dr. Kessler is the author of four books for Lombardi Press: The 8 day Detox Breakthrough, The New Medicine Cure, Doctor’s Home Remedies That Work, and New Breakthroughs in Natural Pain Healing. He also wrote articles on a monthly basis for several years for a health newsletter for Lombardi. Dr. Kessler has taught numerous workshops on a variety of topics for Designs for Health as well as Biotics Research. Westin Childs, DO: is an osteopathic trained physician. His conventional medical training and post graduate training include radiology and internal medicine. The atmosphere of the current medical system and focus on medications and surgery have driven him to seek a better alternative rooted in preventative and holistic medicine. Through his own personal recovery he found the value of root cause analysis when treating complex chronic disease and the power of functional medicine. Utilizing this framework along with dietary and lifestyle modification he has been able to help many patients recover from complex diseases ranging from autoimmunity to the dysbiotic microbial overgrowth of the gut. His interests lie in preventative medicine through the functional medicine framework. He specializes in advanced bio metabolic testing, lipidology, bariatrics and weight management, hormonal balancing through the use of bioidentical hormone replacement as well as anti-aging therapies. His post graduate training in integrative medicine include: The institute for functional medicine, the American Academy of anti-aging and regenerative medicine as well as hormonal therapy utilizing the target method. Joshua Berka completed his medical education at National College of Naturopathic Medicine where he earned dual degrees in both Naturopathic Medicine and Classical Chinese Medicine. Dr. Berka's focus is primarily in family medicine, including advanced approaches for the care of acute and chronic disease as well as alternative and complementary treatments. He also has a great passion for biophysics, including the application of Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) and Pulsed Electromagnetic Fields in research and clinical practice. Dr. Berka enjoys working with people of all ages whom suffer from a multitude of physical complaints as well as those interested in self-discovery and spiritual growth. His mission is to facilitate and guide the process of healing and discovery with every patient through the use of western medicine along with the ancient wisdom of Chinese and Naturopathic Medicine to create a unique and comprehensive approach to health. She has traveled across the country and spoken at many chiropractic events, including the 2014 Parker Las Vegas Convention. She has received professional certification as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Medical Compliance Officer (CMCO), Certified ChiroCode Chiropractic Coder (CCCPC), Certified Professional Compliance Officer (CPCO), and Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA).
