Protect Your Heart at All Costs
Studies show that people with heart
disease, including congestive heart failure and coronary artery disease,
have a higher risk for serious complications from the flu. During the
2018–2019 flu season, 47% of adults hospitalized with the flu also had
heart disease.
Research has shown that people with heart conditions, including coronary
artery disease and heart failure, have a higher risk of developing a
severe case of Covid-19 and other virus infections. Results from the
study of more than 14,000 patients across the United States show the
heavy impact of cardiac disease on hospitalized COVID patients, having a
mortality rate of 25-38%.
Why Does an Unhealthy Heart Make Cold and Flu More Dangerous?
Science has known since the early 1900s that infectious agents
exacerbate atherosclerosis. People with heart disease and those who have
had a stroke are at higher risk for developing serious complications
from the flu and other virus infections. Among adults hospitalized with
flu during recent flu seasons, about half of them had heart disease.
Studies revealed the risk of heart attack was 6 times higher within a
week of confirmed flu infection. These findings were most pronounced for
older adults and those experiencing their first heart attack.
Additionally, another study looked at more than 80,000 U.S. adults
hospitalized with flu over eight flu seasons (2010-11 through 2017-18)
found that sudden, serious heart complications were common and occurred
in one out of every eight patients.
The possible reason is Inflammation. Flu causes inflammation that
affects all parts of the body, including the heart. In certain people,
the inflammation can be so bad it causes a heart attack. The combined
inflammation and added stress on the body also stresses the heart to the
point where it can lead to heart failure and/or arrhythmia.
COVID-19 and Your Heart
COVID-19 can cause viral myocarditis, an inflammation of the heart
muscle. It appears the coronavirus essentially attacks the heart.
Current figures are showing that between 20% and 25% of patients
hospitalized with COVID-19 have some degree of myocardial inflammation.
It is possible this virus can cause long-term heart damage. The good
news is that you don’t have to wait and find out the hard way. You can
take care of your heart immediately with a pure, potent, blend of
therapeutic nutrients that help the body fight infection and support the
heart for health and healing.
Opti-Immune VRL is
a good choice to assist the body in bosting the immune system in
prevention and active response to the infection. It is a synergistic

Opti-Heart’s Key Nutrients
Opti-Heart
provides micronutrients, antioxidants, amino acids, herbs, and
glandulars to help support heart health. The predigested glandulars in
this formula give Opti-Heart an extra boost to achieve higher
therapeutic levels.
This formula contains key nutrients like vitamin C, E and Selenium with a
total of 14 research-backed ingredients shown to have a positive impact
on heart health. All these ingredients are sourced for purity and
potency and are predigested to create up to 300% better absorption.
Vitamin C - It is a key component in the production of
collagen, the main protein found in blood vessel connective tissue.
Prospective studies suggest that 100mg of vitamin C per day can support
cardiovascular health.
Vitamin E - A fat-soluble antioxidant, vitamin E is shown to protect cell membranes and blood vessel endothelium.
CoQ10, Magnesium & L-Carnitine - These three nutrients play critical roles in helping feed your ever-beating heart for overall health and energy.
Glandulars - Opti-Heart takes advantage of including safely
sourced heart, spleen, and pituitary extracts from bovine glandulars out
of Argentina. Together, they provide a complete array of tissue support
for your heart.
5-methyltetrahydrofolate (5MTHF), Potassium, Hawthorn Extract, Taurine & L-Arginine - Five key nutrients that have been shown to support the heart and blood vessel health to allow a healthy heartbeat.
5MTHF helps by lowering homocysteine levels, thus lowering the risk for
heart attack, stroke and other degenerative diseases. Hawthorne appears
to be a safe, effective, nontoxic agent in the treatment of CVD and
ischemic heart disease. Potassium can reduce the risk of cardiovascular
diseases, such as high blood pressure, heart disease, and stroke.
Taurine is shown to help reduce your risk of developing cardiovascular
disease. It reduces high blood pressure by decreasing the resistance to
blood flow in your blood vessel walls. It may also minimize nerve
impulses in your brain that increase blood pressure. L-arginine further
helps improve blood flow, especially in your heart.
