CDC States MILLIONS in U.S. are Infected With Parasites
July 20, 2020 Puzzle Piece
People
presume that just by living in the United States they don’t have to
worry about parasites. The only time an American should worry is if they
traveled abroad. This perception is perpetuated by allopathic doctors,
too but is not true. Many people from many places bring parasites into
the country.
According to research, 1 in 3 Americans have one or more parasites. That
means approximately 110 million Americans have something slithering,
digging in or crawling around inside them.
T. Gondii
The CDC reports that more than 60 million people in the US are
chronically infected with toxoplasma gondii. When a person becomes
infected with T. gondii, the parasite forms cysts that can affect almost
any part of the body. They are most often found in your brain and
muscle tissue of different organs, including the heart.
New infections in pregnant women can lead to birth defects. Infections in those with compromised immune systems can be fatal.
You acquire toxoplasmosis via eating undercooked, contaminated meat or
shellfish (something as basic as a dirty cutting board), absorbing it
through your skin, drinking contaminated water, mother-to-child
transmission, or infected organ transplant.
Toxocariasis
The CDC says 46 million people have toxocariasis, although it is likely
higher because people rarely connect eventual blindness with roundworms.
Ectoparasites
Ectoparasite is a term generally used to refer to organisms such as
ticks, fleas, lice, and mites that attach or burrow into the skin and
remain there for relatively long periods of time (e.g., weeks to
months).
Arthropods are implicated in causing diseases. What is less known, is
they are typically transmitters of many different pathogens that cause
tremendous morbidity and mortality. More than 300,000 people living in
the United States are infected with Trypanosoma cruzi, the parasite that
causes Chagas disease, and over 300 infected babies are born every
year.
Trichomoniasis
Trichomoniasis can cause pregnancy problems and increase the risk of
other sexually transmitted infections, including HIV. The Trichomonas
parasite is extremely common, affecting 3.7 million people in the United
States
Parasite Treatment (individual nutrients are helpful, but synergist blends are farr better for many kinds of parasites.)
Medicinal plants have been used throughout history to maintain the
health, integrity, and security of the GI tract to address the presence
of parasites. The modern discipline of pharmacognosy has identified
specific chemicals within many medicinal plants that appear to be active
molecules, particularly terpenes, alkaloids, and artemisinin.
Terpenes - Originally used to treat malaria, terpenes have been
proven to arrest parasite development and inhibit growth. It has been
shown to be harmless to humans while deadly to parasites.
Alkaloids - Like bacteria, parasites have developed drug
resistance. Sophora moorcroftiana (S. moorcroftiana) is an alkaloid
shrub that grows in the Tibet Plateau of China. Decoction of the seeds
has been used as a traditional Tibetan medicine to treat parasitosis for
years. It acts as a helminthic agent and destroys them.
Artemisinin - Derived from sweet wormwood, this nutrient has
been proven to kill and digest parasites. It works by breaking down the
parasite’s proteins and digesting them.
Wormwood - Wormwood is the main ingredient in many parasite
clearing products and is packed with antioxidants. A recent study in the
Journal of Helminthology showed that wormwood reduced dwarf tapeworm
levels, and a 2018 study in humans found that wormwood could treat
schistosomiasis effectively.
Black Walnut - This is a natural remedy against parasitic
infections thanks to a high concentration of the antimicrobial juglone, a
compound that stunts the growth of other organisms. Studies show that
juglone plays a role in triggering the death of Acanthamoeba and the
protozoan Toxoplasma gondii.
Pineapple & Papaya - These two fruits have been shown to
exhibit anti-parasitic activity thanks to their high concentrations of
papain and bromelain. These nutrients effectively digest parasites’
bodies, thus killing them. They were used in the 19th century to treat
worm infections even though research didn’t show until the 1930s that
they were capable of digesting nematodes.
Opti-Para is
formulated to address the health and microbial balance of the GI tract.
It contains digestive enzymes from bromelain and papain as well as
health-supporting herbs such as sweet wormwood, wormseed, guarana,
passionflower, lavender, black walnut hull, pumpkin seed, grapefruit
seed extract, oregano, and aged garlic bulb. All of these nutrients are
harmless (and beneficial) to humans while poisonous to parasites, like
the theobromine in chocolate is harmless to humans yet poisonous to
dogs.
Dosing for Opti-Para
Take 2 capsules twice daily, or as directed by a health professional.
They are most effective if taken on an empty stomach, like when you
first wake up in the morning and go to bed at night.
It is Optimal to Pair Opti-Para with Opti-GI
The key to removing parasites more permanently is to create an
environment they can’t live in, along with loading your gut with
nutrients proven to remove toxins and parasites: chlorella, psyllium,
licorice root, ginkgo biloba, and pectin.
OPTI-GI™ contains a
complementary blend of nutrients, herbs, and a probiotic yeast to
support the integrity, health, and metabolism of the gastrointestinal
tract. It also contains immunoglobulins, patented glutamine, special
pectin fibers, and powerful herbs.
Dosing for Opti-GI
Take 1-3 capsules daily, or as directed by a health professional.
