Change Your ORGANS, Change Your HEALTH
April 1, 2019 Puzzle Piece
Allergy
season is rough on your eyes, sinuses and energy levels. It comes on
hard and fast for many when they get their first whiff of pollen.
There’s one other thing you may not realize is happening. This insult
is hitting your adrenals hard. The adrenals are major players in
allergies. You need to support them nutritionally to keep them from
going into fatigue or total exhaustion, while you minimize the excess
cortisol production. Let's concentrate today on the adrenals for the
organ of choice in this discussion.
Allergies wear your adrenal glands down and can cause them to
degenerate. Allergies involve the release of histamine and other
proinflammatory substances. Cortisol is produced by the adrenal glands,
which is a strong anti-inflammatory. The amount of cortisol circulating
in your blood is a key factor in controlling inflammatory reactions.
This process directly affects your adrenal glands.
The Vicious Cycle
Stressed adrenals have a difficult time producing enough cortisol
necessary to regulate inflammatory allergic reactions. People suffering
from adrenal fatigue may notice they have more and increased allergies
as the adrenals become increasing compromised.
On top of that, the more histamine released, the harder the
adrenals must work to produce enough cortisol. This creates a downward
spiral of the already chronically tired and fatigued adrenals. It is a
vicious cycle with one problem feeding into the other.
Top Reasons Your Adrenals Get Fatigued = ALL SIX INTERFERENCES:
1. Emotional stress
2. Nutritional stress from poor diet and poor digestion
3. Physical trauma/stress causing chronic inflammation and dysfunction
4. Toxic accumulation
5. Allergies/Sensitivities
6. Electromagnetic stressors
Inflammation is tied to all 6 Interferences. Stress, toxins and
poor diet especially elevate inflammatory markers at the cellular level.
Inflammation is involved in every major disease. Therefore, if your
adrenals are compromised, you’re opening yourself up for a long series
of dis-ease, that snowball in frequency, numbers and severity.
When you review the signs and symptoms of adrenal stress, you can see all organs, systems and your health are compromised.
A Few Signs of Adrenal Fatigue:
● Allergies that can be progressive in numbers, severity and frequency
● Low body temperature
● Weakness and Fatigue
● Irritability and emotional outbursts
● Poor concentration
● Excess hunger
● Insomnia or mental fog
● Depression and anxiety
● Weight gain
● Low sex drive
It is impossible to fix the allergies and the immune system
without addressing the underlying adrenal fatigue. With adrenal
dysfunction, comes suppressed rest-and-repair physiology, including your
immune system. This is like putting the brakes on all of your
metabolism in charge of rest-and-repair. This further shifts the immune
system into allergy production and possibly autoimmune responses. Help
the adrenals to heal and you will release the brake.
A Therapeutic Solution:
Utilize Opti-Adrenal to get out of the adrenal downward spiral. 1 capsule, two times daily
gives a therapeutic dose of potent, whole food, predigested wholesome
nutrients. Lifestyle and diet changes, along with stress management help
also.
Optimal Cort-Adrena
is another OHS nutrition that utilizes proven nutrients in a
predigested form to help the body lower high cortisol levels caused by
stress, stimulants (caffeine, alcohol, exercise) and even allergies,
once it has done its job. It contains key ingredients ashwagandha,
bacopa monnieri, panax ginseng, organic magnesium, zinc, selenium,
chromium, turmeric, and more. Take 1 capsule three times daily with meals.
Opti-Adrenal and Optimal Cort-Adrena offer a safe and effective way to increase energy levels, promote normal physiology and support the body during allergy season.
