A THREAT TO THE PRACTICE OF HOMEOPATHY AND CHIROPRACTIC IN ARIZONA
It
appears Arizona is owned by Big Pharma. “The Arizona Governor and
Senate and House of Representatives is putting forth a bill to eliminate
the Board of Homeopathic Physicians.” Bill AZ HB2739 - Homeopathic
Board.
It came as a total surprise to Homeopathic Doctors and users. The
public and physicians only found out the day before the vote.
A homeopathic MD wrote that as a medical doctor, (MD) only, you need to
practice within the scope of allopathic rules and use allopathic
remedies, which is, as we all know, using patented drugs.
This doctor went on to state that allopathic medicine covers up symptoms
and masks the underlying causes. Covering up symptoms can never get to
the root causes that allows the body to heal, he stated.
There has always been indigenous type of healing disciplines such as
traditional Chinese medicine, Ayurvedic medicine, traditional medicine
of the Native Americans, Europeans, Australians. Almost every country in
the world has had what they call indigenous medicine or truly
traditional medicine.
These disciplines have been around for 5,000 years or more. The
Homeopaths state after the takeover of medicine in 1910, the whole shift
took place to place to allow only allopathic medicine, with emphasis on
drugs and surgery. Prior to that, most Americans and Europeans
preferred either naturopathic medicine or they preferred homeopathy,
osteopathic medicine, or chiropractic over the allopathic method.
In 1980, Arizona formed and passed what's called the Arizona Homeopathic
Medical Board, 1980. Their goal was to restore health. They wanted to
bring people back to physiological homeostasis, which is health, and
results in optimal functioning of the organism.
Arizona Homeopaths have been practicing under this law since 1980. Many
personal physician friends of mine treated thousands of Arizona
patients to great success. Many of these physicians were MD’s, DO’s
and Dentists that added the HD degree or MD(H) to their present license
for great success in treating more holistically.
This is what many patients were looking for and found much improved
health by treating causes and not covering up symptomatic expressions.
Patient support is what helped get the bill passed originally and has
helped to preserve it all these years.
It looks like politics being politics, they're now going to vote to
eliminate our board this homeopathic doctor stated. “If they eliminate
our board, we will be forced to practice allopathy or be in violation of
the law to do anything else.”
I also received an email in the past few weeks stating the governor is
also trying to pass new rules that would dilute the AZ Chiropractic
Board to where they would have almost no power to protect our
Chiropractic law.
