Homecoming 2014 Set New Records in All Ways!
The Doctors and CA's stated: this year we had the best speakers, the most life and practice changing techniques, nutrition and equipment innovations.
Homecoming 2014 was the largest turnout of all time. We had 165 registered participants and nearly 200 with the Speakers and Vendors. The testimonials were so positive, we are sharing a few with you on this Puzzle Piece.
There are also some live testimonials that we have posted here and on line that tells the story how The "Six Steps to Wellness" have changed their lives and practices, along with their patients and families.
The participants said over and over, it was the best seminar ever attended.
Most of the Doctors have requested to have many of this year's speakers back next year. We have already started next year's program. We will have some of this and next year's speakers do Webinars and Puzzle Pieces in the near and distant future. The first one will be Dr Van Merkle on February 20, 2014 at 4:00 PM Mountain Standard time. Look on the Puzzle Pieces for further details.
This year was our last Homecoming. Some people said they almost did not come because they felt like Homecoming might not be new material. They stated nothing was and is further from the truth. Next year will be our first Integrative Health Conference by Brimhall Health Path Seminars and Products.
Enjoy the written and oral testimonies.

October 11, 2021 - Ubiquinol in Heart Health, Stress & Anxiety
October 11, 2021 Puzzle Piece
Ubiquinol in Heart Health, Stress & Anxiety
Ubiquinol is often associated with heart health, which is 100%
accurate. Ubiquinol excels at aiding cellular energy production. “In
addition to its critical role in energy production, it is one of the
most powerful known lipid-soluble antioxidants available, protecting the
body’s cells from damage caused by oxidative stress and free radicals.”
One published paper on severe life stress and oxidative stress on the
brain said, “Numerous studies have attempted to understand how the
central nervous system (CNS) responds to [chronic stress]. This response
includes a variety of morphological and neurochemical modifications;
among them, oxidative stress is almost invariably observed.”
Your body has multiple ways to combat stress, but the problem is they grow less efficient with age. We have Opti-Adrenal and Opti-Methyl B to assist with nutritional support. What you may not know, is we have Essential Ubiquinol as a powerful nutritional asset also, along with Opti-Brain to support the brain directly.
Ubiquinol as a Natural Antidepressant
Ubiquinol is commonly referred to as CoQ10, which is also known as
ubiquinone. Your body takes ubiquinone and converts it to ubiquinol for
use. Much research has demonstrated the benefits of CoQ10 as
ubiquinone.
In a 2013 paper in the journal Pharmacological Biochemical Behavior, Dr.
Aboul-Fotouh showed “antidepressant-like” activity in rats treated with
a heavy regimen of CoQ10. Dr. Aboul-Fotouh knew that depression is
accompanied by oxidative stress and a compromised ability to produce
antioxidants.
What Dr Marc Harris and OHS has done is take the
conversion step from ubiquinone to ubiquinol, therefore taking away a
lot of the work from an already stressed body to give a nutrient in its
readily bioavailable form.
A 2016 article in the journal Nutritional Neuroscience examined the
effect of adding CoQ10 supplementation for treating fatigue and
depression in patients with multiple sclerosis. A group of 48 patients
with multiple sclerosis were randomized to receive either a placebo or
500 mg of a CoQ10 supplement daily for 12 weeks.
Over the course of the study, patients taking CoQ10 showed a decrease in
fatigue and depression, while the placebo group showed an increase in
symptoms. The researchers concluded that CoQ10 may be beneficial in
helping treat mood issues that often accompany multiple sclerosis.3
A more recent 2018 article in the Journal of Clinical Psychopharmacology
examined the effectiveness of CoQ10 supplementation in treating the
depression cycle in bipolar disorder, which may be linked to oxidative
stress.4
A group of 69 patients, with bipolar disorder, and who were undergoing a
depressive episode, were randomized to receive either 200 mg per day of
a CoQ10 supplement or a placebo for eight weeks. Any mood stabilizing
medications remained the same for the duration of the study.
Patients in both groups showed a decrease in symptoms of depression over
time, but the group taking CoQ10 showed better response at the end of
eight weeks treatment.
Ubiquinol is found in every cell of your body. When you have a tired and
stressed body, it’s going to struggle to convert CoQ10 into ubiquinol,
which makes you feel even more tired. When you supplement with the
readily bioavailable form, ubiquinol, you get a healthy dose of
dis-ease-fighting and anti-aging antioxidants.
More recent research shows this antioxidant may also help improve symptoms of mood disorders.
Ubiquinol and Headaches
Stress and anxiety tend to cause headaches, even migraines. Abnormal
mitochondrial function can lead to an increased calcium uptake by the
cells. This leads to the excessive production of free radicals and
decreased antioxidant protection, thus causing low energy in brain cells
and even migraines. Opti-Brain supports the brain, while Opti-MitoForce supports the mitochondria, and Essential Ubiquinol gives antioxidant and further nutritional protection.
Since CoQ10 is mainly in the mitochondria of the cells, it has been
shown to improve mitochondrial function and help decrease the
inflammation that may occur during migraines. A study showed that
supplementing with CoQ10 was three times more likely than a placebo to
reduce the number of migraines in 42 people.
One larger study showed that 1,550 people with low CoQ10 levels
experienced fewer and less severe headaches after treatment with CoQ10.
Imagine if these studies were done with Essential Ubiquinol...
Dr. Harris’s Essential Ubiquinol in summary:
Ubiquinol plays an important role in maintaining cardiovascular health.
Essential Ubiquinol is a highly bioavailable form of this nutrient and
is essential (thus its name) for proper cardiovascular support and
protection from oxidative stress. This may be the nutritional aid you,
your family and/or your patients need to find relief from stress and
anxiety to support the Six Steps to Wellness you provide.
Dosing: Take one soft gel daily or as directed by a health professional.

November 20, 2023 - What Is Your Real Age and HOMECOMING 2024?
November 20, 2023 Puzzle Piece
What Is Your Real Age and HOMECOMING 2024?
I
am 76 years young, not 76 years old. My biological age is much less
than the calendar states by utilizing OHS Nutrition, following the books
Fiber Fueled and The Diabetes Code, as well as utilizing Mesenchymal
Stem Cells and getting adjusted each month.
We
have a Master-Mind Group with Dr Marc Harris, Doug Grant, Dr Brett
Brimhall and Dr John Brimhall that puts nearly 200 years of education
and experience in evaluating and treating to achieve health and
wellness, not disease.
Longevity
scientists now consider aging a disease. Not getting older, but the
physiological process of decline, dysfunction, and disease. It is
possible to turn back the biological clock and grow biologically younger
as we learn and practice the knowledge of longevity and apply the
skills of nutrition, structural correction, elimination or reduction of
electromagnetic pollution, detoxification, stress reduction, and
correction of the causes of allergies and sensitivities.
Your
birthday determines your chronological age, but what determines the age
of your biology turns out to be your genes, your epigenetics, your
nutritional habits, the food you eat, the supplements you take, the air
your breath and the thoughts you think. Much can be done to accelerate
or reverse, at any point in time, your true age. Advances in science
allow us to measure, slow and even reverse our biological age.
Using
various biomarkers and blood tests scientists have plotted the actual
amount of dysfunction in your body that leads to disease and rapid
aging. What’s even more exciting is that many studies have shown that
you can reverse your biological age with diet, various supplements,
lifestyle practices, BrainTap, evaluating your genes and tweaking most
of your body’s functions and epigenetic expressions.
This
changes us from victims to creators of our own Health and Wellness.
The sum of your life experiences and exposures determines how fast or
slow you age. It turns out that more than 90 percent of chronic disease
is determined not by our genome but by our exposome: What
you eat, how you move, what you think and feel, your levels of stress,
the quality of your relationships and sleep, your microbiome,
environmental toxins and more affect the rate of aging. This proves the
Six Steps to Wellness is true anti-aging the Dr Brimhall’s have been
teaching and living for the past 20-50 years, depending on if you are
referring to Dr John or Dr Brett.
Our
life habits and exposures affect almost all of our biological processes
such as our immune function, inflammation, DNA repair, our microbiome,
how our bodies make energy (in our mitochondria)
and many other of the systems that run our body. The key to
understanding how we can measure and reverse our biological age is
something called epigenetics,
the master regulator of health and longevity. Your genes are fixed like
keys on a piano, but which genes get turned on or off is determined by
the epigenome, which you can think of as the piano player. It is
essentially the control mechanism that determines which genes are
expressed and how they are expressed. Your life experienced through your
genes determines how those genes are expressed.
Dr
Harris has given us testing methods to evaluate up to 60 of the most
important methylation genes [Methyl groups (CH3) or a carbon and 3
hydrogens] and nutrition to re-write their genetic expression. Doug
Grant has formulated and holds patents for many innovative products and
delivery systems. The Dr Brimhall’s have formulated over 100
nutritional products in their careers.
Dr
Harris also keeps up on the medical literature daily in German, Russian
and English. He has followed stem cell research and advances ever
since its inception. This information will be shared, and stem cells
will be available (in conjunction with, not part of) Homecoming 2024,
January 18-21. Please call Jason at Brimhall Health Path Products:
480-964-5198 for details and ordering.
Doug
Grant, Dr Harris, and Dr Brimhall will review with you, in detail, each
product they have formulated, why and how to utilize them as part of
Homecoming 2024. I will personally show and tell to demonstrate how you
know you need a specific formulation and which formula would be best to
achieve maximum results.
We look forward to seeing you at Homecoming 2024 to learn how to turn back your Real Age.
Brandy
will be teaching the needed hours for record keeping and documentation
in February as a separate Saturday seminar, so you do not have to miss
any of the classes taught at Homecoming.
Call Jason at 480-964-5198 to register.
You will get to hear from many different speakers who are all well
renowned in their specific areas of study. You’ll be taught many
different topics that will help you become a master at navigating the
bio-terrain, detoxification, regeneration, and restoration.

August 21, 2023 - The Pandemic is Waning but Long-Covid Is Not
August 21, 2023 Puzzle Piece
The Pandemic is Waning but Long-Covid Is Not
We
continue to see many patients with post-Covid or Long Haulers affecting
many parts of the body. Specific, whole food, predigested nutrition
and a healthy whole natural food diet play a significant role in
recovery.
With the pandemic winding down, the ongoing long-term effects of
post-COVID symptoms are creating more questions and complications than
answers in the medical world.
The literature states the infection leaves some patients with lingering,
cardiovascular problems including blood clots, abnormal heartbeats,
atrial fibrillation, and stroke. Muscle response testing has shown
hidden involvement in many areas. We discussed this protocol at
homecoming 2023 in January and will highlight new developments at the
super seminar.
We will have much more time at the January 2024 Homecoming to review the
evaluation and treatment with Dr Harris’s test vial and treatment
vial. The testimonials from patients and doctors go beyond covid
improvement. We are excited to share ongoing developments and successes
following nature and natural whole food nutrition.
Clinical visits, evaluations and treatment are ongoing for residual
kidney, liver and other symptomatic expressions of organs and systems
involvement. This virus seems to have a cloaking element that hides it
from the body’s normal immune response and defense mechanisms. We have
been able to uncover where the breakdowns are and support them to enable
improvement. It takes all “Six Steps to Wellness”.
What’s surprising to the medical profession is that people who are fully
recovered from the active symptoms of COVID are nearly twice as likely
to experience Long-Covid complications, including younger adults.
Medical Doctors are scrambling to learn why.
Not
only that, but it’s also what they don’t know that worries them most.
Will chronic infections like rheumatic fever add to long-COVID issues?
Will millions of young people who previously had no signs of heart
disease become permanent cardiac patients?
The bottom line, according to Time, is that COVID-19 left millions with
some type of cardiovascular symptom, and even though you can’t change
your disease status, you can make other positive, heart-healthy choices
that can protect your heart, blood pressure and cholesterol while
scientists search for answers.
In my classes at August Super Seminar and January Homecoming, I will
give you firsthand experiences in evaluation, testing and treating that
have given answers they are looking for and not finding.

June 18 Puzzle Piece - Nutrient Support to Take Back Your Life
|
June 18, 2012
Nutrient Support to Take Back Your Life
The most desired outcome stated in a patient survey was to have good health and be pain free.
Many people wake up with pain, have it all day and go to bed with some degree of discomfort even taking medications. These symptoms may be aching in spots or all over, stiffness on waking in the morning and may continue throughout the day. They may experience stabbing, burning or throbbing sensations, etc. that may even get worse at night and not allow proper sleep.
The two most common symptoms that bring patients into the office are PAIN and FATIGUE. Let’s look at some nutritional support to get down to the causes and not just symptomatic relief.
Start with digestion and assimilation. Remember 80-90-% of the immune system in the GUT.
1. XymoZyme is a comprehensive digestive formula derived from vegan sources. It is instrumental in protein, fat and carbohydrate digestion. It works in a very wide pH range, where pancreatic enzymes are very pH specific.
2. ProbioMax Daily DF, Probio Defense, ProbioMax DF, ProbioMax Plus DF are different blends and choices of probiotics, prebiotics and supportive nutrients for building a proper bowel flora. If we can improve digestion, assimilation, absorption and elimination, we have improved many parts of our health. Also remember the gut is called the second brain.
3. Vitamin D3 is broken down by the liver and kidneys, it functions as a hormone and works throughout the body, affecting muscles, tissues, nerves, joints and even the brain. In recent years, scientists have begun to recognize the link between low vitamin D and chronic pain, immune health and hormone balance.
• A 2009 study of 139 patients with fibromyalgia and/or non-specific musculoskeletal pain found that 75% of them were deficient in vitamin D. Following vitamin D supplementation, clinical improvements were observed in 90% of the patients.
4. MaX Adrenal (glandular) and MaX Adrenal Herbal are great nutrient support for the adrenals, thymus, spleen, stomach etc. that are affected in chronic stress and GSF (General Adaptation Syndrome) Hans Selye did so much research on.
5. OptiMag 125 contains a propriety blend of Albion’s patented form of Magnesium Glycnate/Lysinate and DiMagnesuim Malate. Magnesium is one of the most important nutrients required by our bodies, yet according to a 1985 USDA survey, 75% to 85% of American adults consume less than the recommended daily amount of magnesium. It is necessary in 80% of the over 5,000 enzyme systems of the body. It helps support healthy bone metabolism and glucose regulation.
• Magnesium is involved in the production of serotonin. People with chronic pain and conditions such as fibromyalgia typically have low serotonin levels, which can be related to the sleep disturbances, increased pain and the mood problems they often experience.
• A magnesium deficiency can cause an increase of substance P. Substance P is a neurotransmitter that serves as a pain messenger. People with conditions like fibromyalgia usually have exceptionally high levels of substance P, which can contribute to their hypersensitivity to pain.
• Magnesium activates adenosine triphosphate (ATP). Energy is supplied to our bodies by the mitochondria in the form of ATP. Researchers have found evidence of mitochondrial dysfunction in fibromyalgia patients, which would result in the severe fatigue reported by most.
• Malic Acid. Evidence suggests that malic acid can help ease discomfort caused by muscle and tissue hypoxia. It allows the body to make ATP - and thereby energy - more efficiently, even under low oxygen or hypoxic conditions.
• Malic acid also supports enhanced cellular stamina and endurance. (Malic acid is derived from food sources such as tart apples and is synthesized in the mitochondria as part of the ATP-producing citric acid or 'Krebs' cycle.)
6. MaXMitochondria and the Mitochondrial Renewal Kit are two options in helping to repair mitochondrial resuscitation. All chronic degenerative conditions have compromised mitochondrial resuscitation. This is very important in energy production, allowing a sense of wellbeing, muscle strength, endurance, glucose regulation and body composition etc.
7. DJD Factors are for skeletal and joint support. This formula features a synergistic blend of Green Lipid Muscle, Vitamin C, MSM, Glucosamine HCL, Chondroitin Sulfate, Hyaluronic Acid and manganese.
8. MaX Deflam will be released soon and is a synergistic blend of Boswella Serrata, Turmeric, Ginger, Cayenne, Lemon Bioflavonoids, Lipoic Acid, Quercetin, Glutatione, Silymarin Extract and Milk Thistle… to help reduce inflammation.
These are just a few nutrients that will help you treat these two most common complaints of pain and fatigue. Of course in our office and in our seminars we always treat and teach all Six Steps To Wellness, including Structure, Electromagnetics, Nutrition, Stress, Allergies and Toxins. This includes testing for Heavy Metals and Halogen toxicities and treating with the appropriate homeopathic formulas, essential fatty acids and CheleX.
We look forward to seeing you soon at one of our seminars across the country.
